Born in 1975 in Baku, Azerbaijan. Galina moved to Armenia as a result of war in Azerbaijan in 1988 just before the earthquake struck Armenia. She graduated from university and worked as a teacher, then an office manager before working as a translator for an international company. Moved to England after marrying her husband and lived in Luton, working in London, until moving to the North West of England.
