Rev Salomo Pinkasovitch was born in Russia, trained as a singer at Odessa, Vienna and Milan, and held posts in synagogues in Hungary, Berlin, South Africa and Manchester. He was at the Manchester New Synagogue, 1922 -1925 and the Mancester United Synagogu
