National Infants School before June 1876. The Boys Department opened 9 January 1883 with a transfer of pupils from the upper standards of Osborne Street School. When Osborne Street School closed 22 May 1896 the pupils were transferred to St. George's. The Boys and Girls Departments were amalgamated to form a Senior Mixed Department 8 June 1896 on the Apollo Street side of the site. Separate Departments were again formed 1 July 1904. Closed 13 December 1911. Standards I-IV were transferred to the Lancastrian School [?M66/15] and standards V-VII to Abbott Street School [M66/1].
