The programme was split into pre-Games operations and Games time operations. Pre-Games the programme established communications between M2002, the various CGAs and the Commonwealth Games Federation (CGF). During the transition to Games-time the CGA relations team switched to a more pro-active role at the Athletes Village to resolve issues arising, or to escalate them onto more senior management.
