Singing Heritage Workshop

Part two of the afternoon session was a workshop that took place on the 23 June 2019 at the Heaton Mersey Community Centre. Once the main event was brought to a close there was a break for refreshments and socialising. Part 2 was a workshop planned to be a space to continue the discussion of the folk songs from the first session in a more intimate setting. The audience were encouraged to join in and comment / contribute as they wanted. The session was chaired by Nuruzzaman bhai [with Luthfur bhai] and Anindita Ghosh. Key participants were Misbah, Hasan and Sarmistha. This session started at approximately 5pm and ran for approximately an hour.
