As part of the artistic development and research project 'When Musical Traditions Meet and Inspire, twenty Greater Manchester based singers joined Emmanuela in two preparatory vocal workshops and rehearsals, which culminated in the recording of one song that features on Emmanuela's new album 'Dunia' and a live music performance at Manchester Histories Festival 22, the Angel Meadow Park. These photographs document the recording session including the collaborative artist Jaydev Mistry.
