Newspaper cuttings and photographs relating to Constance Crawford, daughter of Mr and Mrs Stanley Crawford, who died at the age of 7, having been knocked over by a tram in Eccles Old Road.
Some photographs have 'found in loft at Palatine Road, Clevelys, Lancashire' written on reverse.
Some photograpahs have 'Hamiolton' written in reverse [by photographic studio?]
Newquay photographs relate to Mrs Hambleton nee Crawford.

William Littler Crawford of West Nook, Sandy Grove, Pendleton, died on 21 November 1922, at the age of 69. He was Managing Director and Secretary of Messrs Markendale and Co. Ltd. (which had founded the Manchester Hide and Skin Market). He began working for the company at the age of eleven, and was appointed manager at a young age. He was a widower, his wife having died 18 years before his death, and the couple had several daughters.
