The records were deposited prior to the church amalgamating with Tatton Street United Reformed Church, Hulme. Until 1842 the church was in Jackson's Lane and known as Hulme Independent Chapel.
Source:
Deposited in April 1973 with a second deposit made in December 1977 by the Rev. .G. S. Fraser. A further deposit was made by the United Reformed Church Synod in 2004. Some material was transferred from Kingsway Library in 2008.
