Marion was born 1924 in Munich the daughter of Walter Goldberg and Charlottee Goldberg . She spent most of her early life in Plauen. She emigrated to England on 26 July 1939 as part of the kindertransport. Her father escaped to Nice and later Cuba. Her mother perished in the Holocaust. She spent 1939-1940 with the Acheson family in Clare House, Aldeburgh, Suffolk and later moved to London where she worked as a nurse. She died in Cardiff in 1988.
