Apprenticeship indenture of Henry Gilbert, son of Israel Gilbert of Cheetham, collector, to Thomas Mylrea of Manchester, watch and clock maker and jeweller, for five years. Israel to pay £7-10-0 now and after 12 months to Thomas Mylrea. Henry to receive weekly 2/6 the second year, 5/- the third year, 7/6 the fourth year and 10/-the fifth year. Hours of work to be 8.30am to 6pm, 1pm on Saturday. To be allowed Jewish holidays at Pentecost, Jewish New Year, Day of Atonement, Feast of Tabernacles and Jewish Passover.
