Contraversy over authorship of 'Sir John Chiverton'

Letters between Henry Harwood, M.A., of Aston, Harwood and Somers of Manchester, solicitors, and S.M. Ellis of Southwold, Suffolk, author of 'William Harrison Ainsworth and His Friends' 1911. Harwood claims the work to have been that of John Partington Aston. Also letters from harwood to W.E.A. Axon and George Milnes, President of Manchester Literary Club, and from Ellis to W.R. Credland of Reference Library and Manchester Literary Club.
