Born in Middlesbrough, Neville Laski (1890-1969) settled in Manchester in 1906 and became a leading figure in the Jewish community - at various times he was President of the Manchester Great Synagogue, the Jewish Hospital and the Council Of Manchester and Salford Jews. Donated by Laski in 1936, this is a collection of pamphlets primarily related to World War One. Manchester Archives holds other material relating to Laski - personal papers etc.
