Total copies: 1
A Primitive Methodist mission hall was opened in the 1890's in Saighton Street in Gorton and it was a member of Manchester 4th Primitive Methodist (Higher Ardwick) Circuit. In 1904 the society moved to a new school-chapel in Napier Street, then, in 1919, a new church was opened in Crossley Street. In 1962 Crossley Street joined Manchester (South East) Methodist Circuit, then, when that circuit was dissolved in 1970, transferred to the Manchester and Salford Methodist Mission. The church closed however in 1975.
