This church was opened in 1883. In 1905 the society was transferred to Rydal Mount Wesleyan and Marlborough Road was kept as a mission centre, but in 1912 the society was reinstated and Marlborough Road had its own leaders' meetings again. The church belonged to Manchester (Cheetham Hill) Wesleyan Circuit and, after 1961, Manchester (Prestwich and Cheetham Hill) Methodist Circuit. It closed ??
