(1) Richard Crook of Abram, gent., son of Thomas Crook, deceased
(2) Abigail Crook, widow, mother of (1)
(2) to pay interest on money which was not used to purchase land in Aspull to be settled to the use of the charitable trusts of an agreement between Sir Richard Standish and Edward Chisenhale of the one part and William and Thomas Crook of the other part, 20 Oct 1685.

List of charitable bequests by the will of Thomas Crook of Abram, 9 July 1688, charged on lands called Shaws in Alston, Whittingham:- 40/- to the poor of St. Olave, Jewry, London, 20/- to the Protestant minister of Hindley chapel, 20/- to the poor of Abram, 40/- to the poor of Mawdesley, 40/- to the schoolmaster of the little school in Mawdesley, £4 to the poor of Preston, 40/- to the Protestant minister of Low Church in Walton, 40/- to the poor of Walton le Dale, 40/- to the Protestant schoolmaster of Walton le Dale, 20/- to the Protestant schoolmaster of Lowe School, Hindley, 20/- to the Protestant minister of Westhoughton.
