Copy of court roll of the manor of Accrington - surrender by Robert Hargreaves of Hargreaves Fold in the forest of Rossendale of land called Katty Bent, New Bent and Prime Bent at Hargreaves Fold, to the use of Rich. Heys of Haslingden, until Hargreaves repays £50 at 4 and 1/2 % interest.

Order from the steward of the manor of Accrington Newhold to the greave of the Forest of Rossendale to summon Dorothy Hopkinson of Heath, Warmfield, Yorkshire widow, George Taylor and John Ormerod of Hargreaves Fold, Rossendale, husbandmen so that they yield up to Jane, widow of Henry Hargreaves of Hargreaves Fold, yeoman, a fourth part of land called Katty Bent, New Bent and Prince Bent, and a messuage and land called Old Meadow, Longholm, Kilnfield, Little Limed and Old Limed, the Hoyle at the Backside of the Height Meadow, the Rough at the Back, Hargreaves Moss and Thornfield, all being in Walfenden in the forest of Rossendale and the dower at Jane Hargreaves.
