Court 5 (Adult offences etc.)

1932-1965
Archives
The court registers for the years 1891 to 1966 are arranged by court number. Each court was scheduled each day to hold cases of a certain type, for example family cases or motoring cases. But because the progression of cases varied each day, often cases would be shifted to another free court. Therefore if you cannot find the case you are looking for in one court, try a different court on the same day.
The following is a rough list of typical cases held in Court 5:
Dog no licence
Education Act
Assault
Leaving essential work
Absenteeism/behaviour
Ferocious dog

Light not obstructed (air raid)
