Operations clearly defined and set suitable levels of services throughout the division, and ensured these standards were accepted and adhered to. Each functional area had to be effectively managed by Operations, whilst still enabling them to develop their own plans and progress.
Overall Operations had the most number of volunteers working in the division, due to the diverse functional areas within the division. Each functional area was responsible for it's own budget, taken from an overall Operations budget.
