Unknown family group, parents, four sons, four daughters, probably taken in late nineteenth century in photographer's studio. Name of studio J L Hopper, 4 Pendle Street, Nelson. (Supplementary information from Miss Cooper, Mr Coombe's cousin, suggests that the group may well be the Williams family, that is, Willy and Selina Coombes' father's sister's family, who lived in Barnoldswick and later Nelson, and were a family of mainly weavers.)
