One of the most important scientific instruments to be placed at the disposal of surgeons was demonstrated last night (Fri) at the London Medical exhibition by the inventor, Mr. E. Williams. It is a trepanning and trephining machine which does its work with the minimum of risk of injury to those who undergo operations on the skull. No boring is required and the machine cuts without pressure. Photo shows Mr. Williams demonstrating the machine during a trepanning operation.
