Horse and Farrier, Gatley. Tram Terminus. Reads on front: Not going away. A comes home on Thurs. 13th. Sent to Miss E.M. Fletcher, 932 Ashton Old Road, Higher Openshaw, Manchester. Postmarked April 12, 1905. It reads: We are getting nicely settled now. I am engaged everyday this week but hope soon that you will be able to come and see us. Went to the Lady of Lyons last night at the Midland. Miles had a small part. Love MH. Just got your letter. We went behind the scenes last night, was introduced to Ryder B, Mr. Noble, Miss Hughes. I've been trying to know her for ages. Isn't she sweet? but of course she had an old part in that. She's just as nice off as on.
