Correspondence includes, the reasons behind the amalgamation, letters regarding pensions for the Secretary and Matron of the school and a copy of a circular sent to subscribers on the 29 April 1959, regarding the amalgamation and the transference of two committee members, Mrs Pinnington and Mrs Pierce to the Refuge's Committee.
