Binder of completed polling sheets for election of pupils to admission to the Schools in the election of 25 June 1884. Give name and address of each voter, how many votes they are entitled to, and the names of the candidates for which they want to vote by initialling next to their names on the sheet.

Towards the back are descriptions of the candidates for admission, including their names, their ages, where they are from, the cause of their deafness, the father's occupation and any other information about him relevant to the case, whether the parents survive, the number of children in the family, the amount of weekly earnings brought in by the parents, and the amount that they will pay to the Schools each year.
