Lou Harris lives with his wife in North Manchester. He has taught all his life and was a Head Teacher for many years, receiving many Kosovar pupils into his Catholic Secondary School in Trafford, a school recognised for its pastoral care. Lou now works as an education advisor and also travels extensively. He is very active and enjoys sport. A trustee of Manchester Aid to Kosovo, Lou has visited the country many times to work on MaK projects, including the construction of the Manchester Peace Park.
In this interview Lou describes how Kosovar refugees came to be at the school he was Head Teacher in Manchester. Lou describes the decision to take the Kosovar refugees at the school. Lou describes the children being at the school and his work with Manchester Aid to Kosovo in Kosovo.
