Subject: The Europol is Europe Unions criminal intelligence agency. It was created in an attempt to fight organised crime, drug trafficking, money laundering, terrorism and illegal migration in order to prevent destabilisation of the EU. The Europol Convention was drawn up by the governments of the 15 countries of the EU in secret and neither the European parliament or the national parliaments were involved in its' drafting.
