Jamie Lee Curtis and Donald Pleasence star in this horror classic co-written and directed by John Carpenter. After stabbing his teenage sister to death on Halloween night in 1963, six-year-old Michael Myers (Will Sandin) is confined to a psychiatric facility. 15 years later, Michael (Nick Castle/Tony Moran) escapes and returns to his hometown of Haddonfield, Illinois to continue killing. As psychiatrist Dr. Samuel Loomis (Pleasence) desperately pursues Michael, believing him to be pure evil, Michael targets innocent babysitter Laurie Strode (Curtis) and hunts her relentlessly.
