Bollywood thriller in which a pregnant woman attempts to get to the bottom of her husband's mysterious disappearance. Vidya Bagchi (Vidya Balan) is seven months pregnant when she arrives in Calcutta from London in search of her husband. There is so little trace of the man that others begin to doubt her sanity, wondering whether she has a husband at all. However, even in her fragile physical condition, Vidya is determined to uncover the truth and sets out to unravel a trail of deceit that penetrates to the very heart of the city.
