Born in 1962 in Tehran, Iran. Moved to the UK c.1977 with her mother and brother. Lived in Canterbury briefly before moving to Manchester. Studied at a language college and after graduation moved to Buxton before moving back to Manchester. Met her husband through the Armenian church and married in c.1986. Has worked in the hospitality industry and then in finance and administration.
