queerupnorth's 2003 season mainly consisted of a 'Three Day Bender' running from Thursday 8-Saturday 10 May. There were however other individual events as the organisation continued to focus on commissioning and co-producing new works by queer artists. queerupnorth co-productions toured in the UK, Canada, Australia, Europe and the USA. The brochure for the 'Three Day Bender' describes queerupnorth as investing '...in the foundations of new queer culture for the 21st century.'
