File contains papers relating to the Henry George Memorial Fund which was set up to raise money for the Boys' Summer Camp. Mr Henry George died on October 21st 1923 after devoting forty years to the welfare of the poor and destitute children of Manchester. His activities centred on the Boys' Camp at Birkdale.
