Premiering at Sydney's 1995 Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras Festival, 'cLUB bENT' was its first late night arts club hosting a variety of queer performers, many of whom also appeared separately at queerupnorth. Four of 'cLUB bENT's leading performers were chosen to appear on tour in the UK, together with a selection of British talent, hosted by Lois Weaver. The tour, which also took in Brighton and London, arrived at queerupnorth on Friday 17-Saturday 18 May 1996, where it was presented at the Green Room
