St Mark Worsley, in the parish of Eccles, was built at the expense of Francis Egerton, first Earl of Ellesmere. It was consecrated in 1846 and enlarged in 1852. St Mark's leads the Worsley Team Ministry, which includes St Mary Ellenbrook and St Andrew Boothstown.
