During the period for which records survive, the court appears to have been held at Michaelmas and Easter each year, but records do not survive for 2 courts every year and frequently only the Michaelmas court was held. A member of the Tatton family held the court through his steward throughout the period. Lists of jurors, presentments and penalties are included with lists of officials, namely constables, burleymen, market lookers, moor lookers, alefounders and afferors, elected at the Michaelmas court.
The recordsof the manor were received a s gift from Mr J. D. Hughes in 1928
