The holding company Tootal Ltd. joined the company in 1963. In 1968 the company merged with the Calico Printers' Association to form English Calico Ltd., becoming Tootal Ltd. in 1973, and Tootal Group PLC in 1982. It is now part of the Coats Viyella group.
