Some of Mr. A. Reginald Warburton's photographs were given to him by his father (born 1871) and his mother (born 1870). Mr. A.R. Warburton was born in 1904 in Salford. At the age of fourteen years he left school and during the war years worked as a clerk for the Lancashire Forage Committee. In 1920 he entered the Yorkshire Insurance Company Ltd., where he worked until he retired in 1969. As a young man his hobby was natural history.
