Mother of Mrs. Peach was Anne Kirk (born 1891) and lived in Swinton, Manchester. Grandfather was bandmaster at old industrial school in Swinton. After he died Anne Kirk went to work at a fever hospital in Eccles as a laundry assistant. Wanted to nurse but was too young. Then went to Portsmouth and trained as a nurse. Nursed in Cornwall where she met her husband, and then moved back to Manchester.
Mrs. Peach was born on 9th. September 1929, in Manchester.
