The photographs all relate to the Wrench family which lived in Didsbury during at least the second half of the last century, although it seems the family came orginally from Lincoln. Mrs. Brown's mother was a member of the Wrench family. She was one of ten children, 9 of whom survived (7 boys, 2 girls). All the photographs except no. 6 and 7 are pre- 1900 but the exact dates are not known by Mrs. Brown or her mother.
