The Forum Music Society was an organization based in Wythenshawe, that held its inaugural AGM in 1972. It was a part of the National Federation of Music Societies, and it organized a number of classical music concerts in Greater Manchester. It was originally a private limited company, later becoming a registered charity, and was active in establishing links with nearby councils and promoting arts locally, particularly in Stockport where it put on a series of concerts aided by Stockport Council. It also had links with other North West music societies, such as Tameside Music Society.
