Mrs. Hardman nee Doris Weedall was born in 1910 in Bolton and when she left school worked in Horace's soft furnishing. Her father, Harry Weedall was born in 1888 and died in 1949. He was an Engineer. Donor's maternal grandfather, Walter Warwick had a shop in Bolton - a wholesale leather and grindery shop. This was taken over by his two sons - donor's uncle Walter and uncle Thomas.
