Letter to Major William Lee, 6th Light Dragoons, Beaconsfield.
Concerns workman [apprentice?] name Bridge, who has defaulted in him employment to join the army and is about to be prosecuted for some other offence. Expresses the view that he would be more use to his country 'gaining [for it] near 40's per day by duties on cloth' which he prints, as by remainig a useless soldier and receiving 6s per day.
