Admin History: Broadheath Congregational Church was founded in the middle of the 19th Century, operating out of Broadheath, Altrincham. The Church continued operating out of Broadheath up until 1970, where the Church moved out of Broadheath to Woodlands; changing its name to Woodlands Church to reflect its georgraphic position. Woodlands operated in coordination with the smaller Church Bowdon Hill throughout the 1990s hosting joint meetings. Due to declining membership, eventually closed down in 2001; with pastor moving to Woodlands United Reform Church.
Records of Bucklow Hill have also been included in this section of the Archive, due to the small scale of the Church and that the minutes of these Churches were also taken together.
Woodlands URC merged together with the Three Chruches in 2003, but continued conducting its internal adminstrative records, which are represented in this section.
