Award of Rev. John Holme, vicar of Blackburn, and James Naylor of Preston, gent, in a dispute between (1) Alice Hindle of Totleworth in Rishton, widow and (2) John, her son, yeoman.
On 2 Feb. John must pay Alice £3-10-0 arrears of an annuity of 50/- under her husband's will and continue 50/- annuity for six years, if William Mercer of Great Harwood and Roger Aspinall of Upper Darwen, yeoman, so long live. After six years John must pay Alice £4 per year for the lives of Mercer and Aspinall. John to indemnify Alice against the debts of Henry Hindle, deceased. Both may keep what goods of Henry Hindle are in their hands. John to have messuage left by his father.
