John Lowe (John Lowe was one of Samuel Lloyd's Assignees.) to Messrs. Bury, Miller & Co.
Writes from Birmingham where Samuel Lloyd who is ill, is being examined by the Bankruptcy Commissioners. Lloyd has produced a letter from John Bury dated 1800, stating that his share of the property in the House (firm) was £5400 of which he has not received any, with the result that the Commissioners have not yet admitted Bury's affidavit. Suggests that if wishes for a hearing, he should come to Birmingham immediately. Mr. Wheatley (Whateley) is solicitor. Lloyd states he has only his furniture at Sabden, about £200 in Jones's Bank and book debts.
