[John Bury] to J. Grafton: draft.
Expresses surprise that Grafton should ask what share of the profits were due to him. Recollects telling him that losses by stock reduced and bad debts have meant that there has been neither interest on capital, or share of profits for the last four years. Grafton's amount is enclosed (not preserved with this draft) - is in debt to the concern for £703. 0s. 10d, and receipts have overrun his salary for last twelve weeks.
