John Bury, senr. to John Bury, junr.
Notes circumstances of James Lund's inclusion in the Lund partnership and asks John's opinion of proposals in a letter from R. Lund (not preserved - ?concerning printing his calicos) and whether he could find a reputable London commission house to take some printed goods. James Bury, junr. should not be told of the proposals. Trade in Manchester is flat. The printers have given up their proposed advance of 1d per colour in consequence of the Union of the Masters.
