The Blackasky family were murdered by the Nazis, with the exception of Golda (far left) and Yitzchak, her brother (far right). They went to Palestine in 1933. Mr. Bartell met Yitzchak and Golda in Israel in the 1960's. Mr. Bartell's family used to send clothes to the Blackasky family. Photograph c.1920.
