Voss, the best man at the wedding was a dentist from Cheetham Hill, Manchester. (His brother committed suicide jumping from a plane). Rev. Dr. Cohen who assisted by the Revs. Solomon and Dainow, performed the ceremony, went on to become President of the Board of Deputies of British Jews.
