A group taken in the Swiss gardens at Old Warden Park, part of the private grounds of the house, to commemorate an historical pageant which took place in 1927. The Swiss Chalet, a kind of summer house can be seen at the back of the picture. Mrs Shuttleworth is seated at the front of the picture, dressed as Queen Elizabeth I.
