Laura Fagan (donor), aged about twelve years old, with her parents in Bridlington in c.1926/7. The family would often go to Bridlington for their holidays. Mr. Johnson's brothers were all either teachers, or involved in education in the Yorkshire area, and could therefore all meet up during the school holidays. Mrs. Fagan recalls that such photographs were called 'Happy snaps'. Itinerant photographs would roam the sands, promenade and piers in seach of trade.
