When foun.d.ed in 1951 the club's main aim was the advancement of the Art and Science of Photography. It was also inten.d.ed to stimulate, encourage, maintain interest in and make photographic records of beauty spots, places, buildings and events of interest and amenities in the urban area of Hoylake.
